Dusty
Owens, CEO and Owner of Traditional
Country Music Radio, announced early this morning
(January 25, 2003) that
TCM Radio is officially “on the air.” The address
of the Internet radio station is www.tcmradio.com
. TCM is dedicated to promote all genres of classic
country music, bluegrass and gospel.
Owens, who lives
in Temple Terrace (Tampa), Florida, got his start in
radio in Flint, Michigan at the age of 16. A few years
later, he was writing exclusively for Acuff-Rose
Publishing Co. and recording for Columbia Records.
Today, he continues to write and sing country music,
and records for Admiral Records. |
| His biggest
hits were “Once More,” “Hello Operator,” and
“Just Call On Me,” which he penned. Recently,
Country Discovery Records released a new CD on Dusty, “The
Final Touch,” which features favorites like
“Don’t Tell Me What To Do,” "You Are The One," and
"Cajun Baby." Owens will do
most of the Dee Jay work for TCM Radio. Email:
